Gentian (Gentiana
lutea, dried root). For poor appetite, acid indigestion,
poor stomach or intestinal function. Stimulates digestive
function after prolonged illness. For anemia or when recuperating
from nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
Dose: Take 5-15 drops in a little water
at least 10 minutes before meals.
Contraindications: Not
when gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastric irritation, and
inflammation are present.
Ginger (Zingiber
officinale, dried root). Relieves motion sickness, nausea
(even from chemotherapy or vertigo), and vomiting better than "Dramamine." Relieves
indigestion, abdominal and menstrual cramping, dyspepsia and
gastric hypoacidity. Helps with acute colds and flu.
Dose: Take 10-20 drops three times a day
before meals. For motion sickness, take 30-60 drops thirty
minutes before your trip. Repeat every two to four hours. 
Ginkgo (Ginkgo
biloba, fresh and dry Autumn-gathered yellowing leaf).
Has a scavenging effect on free radicals. For hearing and
sight disorders with poor blood flow in ears and eyes; tinnitis.
Helpful for Alzheimer's disease, vertigo associated with inner
ear problems; loss of memory and alertness. Helps prevent
poor circulation problems in eyes, skin, and extremities when
diabetes is present.
Dose: Take 20-30 drops up to four times
a day. Maximum benefits are achieved when used for at
least six months to one year.
Ginseng,
Chinese Kirin Red (Panax ginseng, cured
dried root). Most stimulating of the Ginsengs. For physical
or emotional stress or exhaustion, mild depression, tiredness.
Very helpful to older people whose appetite, energy and
stamina are low, especially while recuperating from disease
or surgery.
Dose: Take 5-20 drops two to three times
a day.
Contraindications: Not
for use when thyroid disease, high blood pressure,
hyperglycemia or insomnia are present.
Side effects: May
cause insomnia.
Ginseng,
Korean White (Panax ginseng, dried root).
Considered stronger than Siberian Eleuthero, but weaker
than Woodsgrown American Ginseng. For emotional and physical
stress manifesting as elevated blood sugar (triglycerides)
and blood lipids (cholesterol), exhaustion and depression.
Use when recuperating from illness or surgery. An excellent
adaptogen (i.e., a substance that produces a normalizing
effect on the body), it increases strength, endurance, and
resistance to stress or infection.
Dose: Take 15-25 drops in morning and
afternoon.

Kola (Centella asiatica, dried herb).
Enhances memory, clarity and calmness. Great support for

psoriasis and varicose veins.
Dose: Take 20-30 drops morning and mid-afternoon.
Graviola (Annona
muricata, dried leaf) Complementary therapy in orthodox
cancer protocols, especially for multi-drug resistant (MDR)
tumor cells; depression, anxiety, nervousness, sleeplessness
from chemotherapy; hypertension; and herpes simplex virus-1
infections.
Dose: Take 60 drops three times a day in
a little water.
Contraindications: Not
in pregnancy. Not for use with MAO-inhibitors or prescription
antidepressants.
Warning: May aggravate
hypotension. Monitor use when taken in conjunction with
hypertensive drugs. Large single dose may cause nausea
or vomiting. Reduce the dosage accordingly.
