Hawthorn (Crataegus
spp., fresh flower, terminal leaf and berry). For heart
irregularities with rapid heart beat episodes or weakness
of heart muscle from poor blood supply. Prevents complications
in many heart diseases, especially angina and congestive
heart failure.
Dose: Take 10-20 drops up to three times
a day for one month, then twice a day for an unlimited
period of time.
Contraindications: Do
not use with digitalis.
Warning: May potentiate
the effects of digitalis, consult primary care practitioner
prior to use with digitalis. Not useful for damaged heart
where the damage is termed organic. Works best for functional
heart problems (i.e., angina).

Pressure Tonic (Linden/Hawthorn Complex).
Helpful in cases of mild to moderately elevated blood pressure.
Especially helpful when high blood pressure is due to stress
or is aggravated by excessive sodium intake. Useful in either
systolic or diastolic elevations.
Ingredients: Linden flower, Mistletoe,
Dandelion, Passionflower, Hawthorn flower, leaf and
berry, Siberian Eleuthero, Yarrow, Skullcap, Prickly
Ash bark.
Dose: Take 20-40 drops two or three times
a day.
Contraindications: Not
in pregnancy. Side effects: May cause low blood pressure.

Herbaprofen® (Jamaican
Dogwood/Black Cohosh Complex). A good muscular anti-spasmodic
and anti-inflammatory formula. As a botanical analgesic, it
helps reduce pain and spasms caused by toothaches, uterine and
fallopian cramps, neuralgia, intestinal colic, gallstones and
renal colics, rheumatoid arthritis, fibrositis, sore muscles,
spasmodic cough, sciatica, sprained back, etc. Useful for congestive
headaches. Especially beneficial when pain prevents sleep.
Ingredients: Jamaican Dogwood, Black Cohosh,
Wood Betony, Meadowsweet, Passionflower, Devil's Claw,
Licorice, Stevia.
Dose: Take 20-50 drops or one softgel up
to every three hours, or as needed.
Contraindications: Not
in pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Holy
Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum, dried leaf
of Krishna and Rama Tulsi). A first-class adaptogen comparable
to Ashwagandha, Siberian Eleuthero and Ginseng. Excellent
in high stress situations as it increases stress endurance
and prevents stress-induced stomach ulcers. Possesses substantial
immuno-, blood sugar-, blood pressure- and cholesterol-modulating
activity. Helpful in asthma, bronchitis, cough, and radiotherapy
protection. Externally: For healing chronic skin ulcers,
skin eruption or inflammation, and rash.
Dose: Take 60 drops
twice a day. Take for 100 days or more for best result.
Externally: Dilute with water and apply.
Contraindications: Not
in pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Not recommended
for infants or toddlers
Hops (Humulus
lupulus, dry strobile). For insomnia caused by heartburn,
indigestion, restlessness and/or headaches. Calms hyper-secretion
of stomach acids while toning up digestive functions. Effective
against gram-positive bacteria (Staph, Strep and Pneumonococcus).
Dose: Take 10-40 drops three times a day.
Contraindications: Not
during depression.
Side effects: Long
term use may cause depression.
Horsetail (Equisetum
arvense, fresh Spring-gathered herb). Stops slow oozing
bleeding of all kinds. Useful for children who wet the bed.
Useful with connective tissue weaknesses as may be found in
kidneys, lungs and liver. High in silica. Stimulates calcium
absorption. Useful in arthritis.
Dose: Take 15-30 drops up to three times
a day. For bed wetting in children over five years old,
use with California Poppy, 10 drops of each twice a day.
Contraindications: Not
in cardiac or renal dysfunction.
Hyssop (Hyssopus
officinalis, fresh and dry herb). For lung problems characterized
by excess mucus production with difficult expectoration. Useful
for coughs, bronchitis, asthma, chronic mucus, gas, and stomach
irritation.
Dose: Take 10-40 drops up to four times
a day.

in pregnancy.
