Juniper (Juniperus
communis, dried berry). Useful as an antiseptic in
sub-acute or chronic inflammation of the bladder or urethra,
i.e., the kind of inflammation that has been there for a
while and has not healed properly. Also for chronic arthritis,
gout and rheumatism.
Dose: Take 15-30 drops three times a day.
Contraindications: Not
in pregnancy. Not in acute urinary tract infection, stomach
inflammation or serious kidney disease.
Side effects: May aggravate
stomach or kidney inflammation.
Warning: Do not use
for more than six weeks in succession. Do not exceed recommended
dose.
