Wild
Cherry (Prunus
serotina, dried bark). Useful for irritating or chronic
cough with excessive expectoration, bronchitis, or whooping
cough. Also useful when recuperating from lung or digestive
problems, pleurisy or pneumonia.
Dose: Take 20-60 drops up to four times
a day.
Warning: Not for
long term use. Do not exceed recommended dose.
Wild
Yam (Dioscorea villosa, fresh root).
Helps stop cramps or spasms of "hollow organs," such as
intestines, gall bladder, uterus, bladder and ureters. Relieves
inflammation in acute rheumatoid arthritis, and diverticulosis.
Excellent for morning sickness. Helps ease stomach or intestinal
irritability after operations.
Dose: Take 20-40 drops four to five times a
day.
Side effects: Large doses
of the extract may cause vomiting.
