Yarrow (Achillea
millefolium, fresh flowering herb). Taken in hot water,
causes sweating and eases fever, symptoms of common colds,
and amenorrhea (lack of menstruation). Taken in cold water,
eases passive bleeding of the uterus, bladder or lungs;
relieves gastric cramps, stomach gas, uterine spasms.
Dose: Take 15-30 drops every four hours.
Yeast
ReLeaf (Pau D'Arco/Black Walnut Complex).
For intestinal or systemic candida infection with resulting
irregularities: diarrhea or constipation, bloating, low
or fluctuating energy levels, vaginitis, menstrual difficulties,
and/or allergic reactions to foods. Also used for thrush
or mouth fungal infection, sinus infection, and certain
types of eczema aggravated by candida. Useful on athlete's
foot.
Ingredients: Pau
D'Arco, Quassia, Licorice, Echinacea, Myrrh, Yerba Mansa,
Black Walnut, Thuja, Astragalus, Garlic.
Dose: Take one softgel or 10-25 drops every
three to four times a day with water. Best results are
achieved when taken with a acidophilus-based probiotic
product. Externally: Use liquid herbal extract straight,
or diluted as a wash.
Contraindications: Not
in pregnancy.
Yellow
Dock (Rumex crispus, dried root). For
skin eruptions, acne, eczema, urticaria, psoriasis, accompanied
by constipation, jaundice from liver congestion, bad breath
and indigestion.
Dose: Take 20-40 drops twice a day.
Warning: Use cautiously
when a history of kidney stones is present.
Yerba
Mansa (Anemopsis
spp., dried root). Excellent substitute for Goldenseal.
For slow healing conditions such as mouth, gum and throat
sores, stomach and duodenal ulcers, colitis, pleurisy and
bladder inflammation. Use externally for skin ulcers and boils.
Use as a sitz bath for Bartholin gland cysts, perianal fissures
and hemorrhoids.
Dose: Internally: Take 20-40 drops up to
four times a day. Externally: Dilute and apply. Sitz bath:
Dilute one teaspoon per one quart of water.
