Kava (Piper methysticum, dried root) Possesses mood elevator properties. Relieves nervousness, agitation, tension, stress and mild anxiety. Promotes relaxation of muscle tension due to stress, relieves fatigue and calms the mind. Useful when anxiety prevents sleep. Suggested Use: Take 20-30 drops with water two to three times a day. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Do not use with alcohol or barbiturates. Side Effects: Large amounts over an extended period of time may cause skin rash.
